With Haruhi having been successfully kidnapped by Tamaki and the twins, Mori comes back from swimming with Honey, and walks up to Haruhi who offers him a cold drink, which he gladly accepts. The Host Club decide to spend the day the at Kyoya’s family indoor beach. With this reminder, Tamaki and the twins devise a plan to keep Haruhi’s gender a secret, using fancy tuna as leverage, which Haruhi agrees to in the hope of being able to try some.

As Tamaki and the twins try to figure out how to “motivate her,” it’s Mori that brings up fancy tuna, something Haruhi brought up during “the previous episode” that she wasn’t able to eat. Haruhi is unbothered by it, even implying that once she’s outed, she’ll have to stop being a host and figure out a different payment for the expensive vase. The Host Club realize Haruhi will be outed as a girl should she go through with the exam. Weeks later, students of Ouran Academy will be undergoing a physical examination. It’s as he’s lifting her up, does Mori realizes Haruhi is a girl, becoming the fifth to learn this. Haruhi calls out to Mori for help and he rushes to aid her, picking her up out of Tamaki’s hold. Tamaki calls Haruhi over to meet a regular girl in attending when Tamaki picks Haruhi up and spins her. Haruhi ends up doing well as a host that it’s decided she won’t need training. As Haruhi has no money to pay for it, she’ll pay for it with her “body,” becoming the Host Club’s “dog,” before becoming their newest member. Not long after, Tamaki’s advances cause Haruhi to back into an expensive vase, causing it fall, shattering on the ground. And the moment he learns Haruhi is a girl in disguise when he 'saves' her from Tamaki's smothering is adorable.Haruhi is in search of a quiet place to study when she stumbles upon the Host Club. I always thought it was a nice touch that Mori didn't demonstrate any of the elitist ignorance or arrogance that the other head boys in the group did. They both possess 'down-to-Earth' personalities, have a sibling-like association with Honey, and have shown respect towards each other since the beginning. Though it is made fairly clear throughout the 'reverse harem' story that Haruhi is to be paired with Tamaki (who I do like as a character, don't get me wrong!), I ship Haruhi and Mori together more than anyone else in the series. Aw well, guess more for those like me that do like him. It's too bad that he's so underrated for being so softspoken against the antics of the others' ouvert flambouyant charms. I will freely admit that I find him appealing and handsome for his 'tall, dark, and handsome' appearance and grounded, protective personality. It's to the point that I would consider Mori an honorary husbando. Haruhi is a great female protagonist for the kind of exaggerated parody setting of romantic comedies, and I think Mori and Honey are pretty sweet together (together plationically and apart). Out of all the variety of entertainment, I think these three are my favourite characters. But I wanted to push through this anyway, especially since my friend has been doing great entires for the 'Six Fanarts Challenge' (and even doing some requests like the one here).

It's about time I did some fanart for 'Ouran High School Host Club' since it is one of the funniest anime I have seen yet! I tend to be cautious when drawing art for anime series because I don't think I can always translate the styles into my own.
